金善姬策划过2005年的“寂静的优雅：东亚当代艺术展”（The Elegance of Silence： Contemporary Art from East Asia）和2006年的“MAM 项目 004： Choe U-Ram”。她曾连续数年担任韩国光州城市艺术馆（Gwangju City Art Museum）和光州双年展的策展人，2002年，她被森美术馆正式聘用。她曾或参与策划的展览包括1998年光州城市艺术馆的“窗内外”（Window， Inside and Outside），分别于1999年和2002年在首尔艺术中心（Seoul Art Center）举办的第一、二届女性艺术节，“1945后韩国旅日艺术家展”，2001年的“城市的寂静”展（Silence of the City）和2002年在光州城市艺术馆举办的“深山失牛”展（Lose a Cow in the Deep Mountain）。
