劳动节来历
五一国际劳动节，又称国际劳动节、劳动节，是世界上大多数国家的劳动节。节日源于美国芝加哥城的工*罢工，为纪念这次伟大的工人运动，18年的第二国际成立大会上宣布将每年的五月一日定为国际劳动节。
中国**政务院于1949年12月作出决定，将5月1日确定为劳动节。
今年3月22日，**调整2019年劳动节假期安排，5月1日至4日放假调休，共4天。

资本主义国家不庆祝"五一劳动节"的，因此要么说“五一”："May day" ，或者，"国际工人节" ："international worker’s day"。不然老外不懂。如果用"labor day"就有可能会引起混淆，特别对老美来说，Labor Day虽然也是劳动节，但是节日时间是九月份的第一个星期一。
